Father in Heaven, I admit that I’ve been taking Your love for granted. I’ve been worshiping You in the wrong way. I confess that I’ve been complacent in serving You. Please forgive me for my shortcomings. Forgive me for the times I thought praying every day and going to church was already enough. I am sorry for not honoring You enough through my words and actions.
But Father, I realize now that You deserve all the praise and glory I could ever give. Thank You for loving me regardless of whether I fall short today or not. Thank You for Your love that stood by me at any cost. It is my desire to show You my faithfulness and obedience through the life I live every day. Please allow me to always come into Your presence in humility.
As I repent from my wicked ways, I ask You, God, to change me from the inside out. Transform my heart, so I can serve You the way You deserve to be. Please help me to be more and more like Jesus. So that when people see me, they will see Your love. May I be a reflection of Your grace.
Lord Jesus, I pray that I will always acknowledge Who you are. That I will recognize You as my Lord and Savior and that I need You all the days of my life. Help me honor You by always calling out Your name in every circumstance, not only when I am desperate for grace. I pray that I will always seek Your face as I step into Your shelter of love and comfort.
I know that serving You is a gift and privilege. Father, I pray that I will continue to commit my life to You. I pray that I will always choose to serve You, that I will always choose to obey You despite the pain that comes with it. I know that soon I will spend my eternal life with You, so for now, sustain me with Your love. I praise and honor You. In Jesus’ name, amen.
