Dear God, I do not feel any good. I’m tired. I’m worried. I’m overwhelmed. I’m anxious. I’ve been very distracted with how I feel that I find it even hard to come to You in prayer. I feel like nothing good is working out now. I feel broken. Lord, I know that You are the only refuge that I have. Please help me overcome this negativity. Strengthen my heart so that I will have the capacity to carry these burdens by the grace that You provide. I know that You are my Helper. Grant me peace as I walk in endurance. May I walk in assurance that this suffering shall pass too and that this will produce perseverance, good character and hope in me. Everything works together for good as You promised. Do not let me give up on this. Though my sorrow may last for the night, Your joy comes in the morning. Thank You for the constant hope that there awaits a better tomorrow for those who love and obey You. I’m trading my exhaustion, my worries, my pain for the joy of the Lord. You give me strength daily. Thank You, God, for giving me timely encouragement. I know that You are the only one who could restore me. You are the only one who could sustain me. You are the only one who could bring life in me during my down times. I am glad that I can depend on You. Continue to deepen my faith as You unveil Your plans. Regardless of the pain it takes to go through the process, I pray that I’d be willing. That I will never surrender. That I will go as You want me to go. Thank You for equipping me for this battle.
