Dear God, I thank You for entrusting me with the lives of these precious children. They all come from You and You have given me the opportunity to nurse and raise them as my children. Thank You for the wonderful blessing of having kids.
Lord, I know that these children are Your children. You have created them and want them to grow faithful to You. I pray that You work mightily upon their lives so that they will truly experience the joy of the spiritual connection that they have with You. Help them to grow spiritually moment by moment.
I pray that each of them will have such a deep longing and desire to know You. I pray that they will hunger and thirst for more of You. I pray that they will learn to love Your word for that is where You reveal Yourself. I pray that they will cherish their relationships with You as they grow in faith.
Above all, I pray that these children will truly learn how to love You. I know that You are the One who will put this seed of love in their young hearts. I pray that though they are young, they will understand that they are loved by You and that they will love You back. May this love You give them overflow so that they may share it with others as well.
God, protect these children from all evil. Do not allow them to be enticed by the devil’s lies. I completely entrust them to You. I know that I could not cover them all the time but I declare that Your presence in their lives shall keep them safe.
I offer these children back to You. I hope that everyone of them will grow with a genuine fear of the Lord in their hearts. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
