Lord God, You are our healer. You are powerful and full of mercy. I believe that You are capable of healing people. You even brought people back to life in the past. You are our God and there is no other.
God, I believe that even as You only speak, healing comes to those who believe. I pray that the people who are infected with COVID-19 will learn to have true faith in their hearts. May they see that it is only You who could save them from this life and death phenomenon.
I pray that as they realize their need for You, these people will truly turn to You for help. Lord, reveal Yourself to them as the God who restores not only one’s physical health but spiritual health as well. I pray that they will experience salvation of their souls as they receive healing from You.
I pray that they will receive sufficient medical attention. Please provide for their medical needs and allow them to be treated well. May their bodies regain strength and their immune systems get stronger to be able to fight the virus. Ease their pain. Help them to overcome this battle against illness.
I also pray that they will learn to exercise faith as they heal. May they truly recognize Your sovereign power at work in their lives. May they taste and see Your goodness during this time. May they learn to submit their whole life to You and depend on You at all times. May they recognize You as the one and only God.
Thank You, Lord, for the assurance of healing. I know that You care for these people deeply. Every soul matters to You and You want all of them to be saved. Please extend Your hand to these sick people. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
