Heavenly Father,
I come before You today with a heart that waits. Sometimes impatiently. Sometimes tearfully. Sometimes filled with doubt. But today, Lord, I lay all my timelines and expectations at Your feet.
You are the God who walked faithfully with David through twelve years of hiding, with Abraham through twenty-five years of hope deferred, with Joseph through thirteen years of betrayal and prison, and with Noah through one hundred and twenty years of preparation. You never failed them—and You will not fail me.
Forgive me when I try to rush Your plans or force open doors that are not yet ready. Teach me to trust in Your timing, even when the wait feels long, lonely, or uncertain. Strengthen my faith to believe that if You have me waiting, then it must be because You are working—preparing something greater than I could imagine.
I choose to believe that delays are not denials. That closed doors are divine protection. That the wait is not wasted. You are the Author of time, and You make everything beautiful in its season.
Fill my heart with peace as I wait. Replace my worry with worship, my panic with praise, and my fear with faith. Let my life be a testimony that waiting on You is never in vain. I declare today: God’s time is the best time—and I will rest in that truth.
Just as You fulfilled every promise for David, Abraham, Joseph, and Noah, I trust that You will fulfill Your promises for me too.
In Jesus’ name I pray, amen.
