Some Advice for Good and Bad Moments

Life is a mixture of mountain tops and valleys. Some days overflow with joy, while others weigh heavy with pain. In both the good and the bad, God is present—and His Word gives us wisdom for every season. Here is some encouragement to hold onto no matter where you are today.

In the Good Moments

“Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” (1 Thessalonians 5:18)
Celebrate the blessings God gives, big or small. Remember to pause, give thanks, and recognize His hand in your joy. Gratitude keeps your heart humble and your eyes focused on the Giver, not just the gift.

In the Bad Moments

“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” (Psalm 34:18)
In sorrow and struggle, lean into God’s presence. He doesn’t leave you alone in the valley—He draws near, comforts, and strengthens you. What feels heavy today is never carried without Him.

Friend, whether you are rejoicing or hurting, God is faithful. He is the God of both the sunrise and the storm, and His love never changes. In every moment, choose to look to Him.

Whisper this prayer: “Lord, I thank You in the good times and trust You in the hard times. Be my joy, my comfort, and my strength in every season.”

No matter what today looks like—good or bad—God is with you, and that makes all the difference.
